Excellent purchase. My husband dressed as Frankenstein's monster this halloween, these boots made the costume. They fit well and for the money the quality and fit were excellent.

...I just received my Frankenstein boots, as I plan on dressing up as Frankenstein from Abbott and Costello Meet Frakenstein, for Halloween. These are EXTREMELY comfortable, easy to walk in and look just classic! I'm very pleased with this purchase, and thank my mom and grandmother in Heaven for the homemade ones they made, about 39 years ago.

As others have noted, these shoes are excellent for the intended audience and are highly recommended. They add almost 8" to my height, so when combined with my bobblehead ghoul costume I appear to be over 8' tall (measured to the top of the mask's head)!

Considering how high the shoes are they are suprisingly stable, even on inclined/declined surfaces I have no problem. The sizing is good too: my normal shoe is 11.5 so I purchased the "12-13" size and they are slightly loose, exactly as I would expect (which is fine considering their range will primarily be tromping around my driveway on Halloween evening).

Build seems pretty good too for the price and considering that they're novelty shoes. I'll likely hold on to these for life and when the ghoul costume falls apart build its replacement around them too - maybe Frankenstein?

P.S. My wife and kids love them too and all want a pair in their size!
